Unit 8, Lesson 11: Work Day
Learning Target: I can create a game that demonstrates the positives and negatives of interconnection
Class Activities:
1. We actually have 4-5 work days for students to use on this project. Groups could use them pretty freely, and I pretty much just walked around, asking questions, making suggestions, and brainstorming. I did have a suggested pacing guide for them to use, however:
Day 1: Write proposal
Day 2: Create a rough draft of the board
Day 3: Research on the computers/textbook and use research to create a list of cards/scenarios/whatever else.
Day 4: Instruction manual
Day 5: Work on final board, pieces, etc.
Day 6: Finish up board, pieces, etc.
Papers handed in today:
Proposal
Homework:
Board Game due 5/24 for Sections 1 & 2, 5/26 for section 3, and 5/25 for section 4.
