Unit 1, Lesson 12: DIY Timeline
Learning Target: I can create a timeline to demonstrate my understanding of scale, thresholds, and origin stories.
Class Activities:
1. Students came in and took the DIY Timeline Handout from the back of the room.
2. For the Do Now, they copied down the definition of "Thresholds" on their vocab sheet. The definition of thresholds is, "
When they finished, they answered the two threshold questions on the top of their handout.
3. We went over the assignment sheet and rubric. This is the final assignment of this unit, so this assignment will go in as an assessment grade.
4. Students used the rest of the period to work on their timelines. I walked around and checked thresholds and scale.
Papers handed in today:
Disciplines worksheet from yesterday.
Homework:
What's your origin story? timeline, due Monday for sections 1,3, & 4, due Tuesday for section 2.
