Unit 1, Lesson 7: Comparing Origin Stories
Learning Target: I can compare multiple origin stories
Class Activities:
1. Students came in to the classroom and picked up a worksheet. Then they chose an origin story group to work with (Either Modern Scientific, Mayan, Iroquois, Judeo-Christian, Chinese, or Greek.) There were 5 students in each group.
2. Remember the origin story chart on the 3 reads packet? (from lesson 5, I think). I made a huge blank chart and taped it to the wall. Each group was responsible for putting in their origin story's information into the chart. If you missed class, you don't need to make this up.
3. When they were done, they moved answered the questions for Activity 2 on their worksheet. (you should make this up. Choose any origin story.) Don't answer the back side yet. We'll do that Friday.
